trackback URL on related content page should not include jsessionid query string

i opened a related content page in my browser:

 http://www.plosmedicine.org/article/related /info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pmed.0020138

since i didn't have a session cookie yet, tomcat wants to add a jsessionid query string to all links on the page. this is fine, in general, but it's not what we want on the trackback URL.
