Remove date range from advanced search

Mulgara is unable to quickly return search results for specified date ranges. Please comment out the functionality from the PLoS templates. It should stay in the default Ambra journal template.

In the Advanced Search form:

• Remove the text "Published between:"
• Remove the text fields for the date range.
• Add "Past 6 months" to select list with appropriate date range.

On further thought, comment out the functionality from the Topaz repository. This will also affect anyone with a large data set until the Mulgara issues can be resolved.

Verified that the date range has been removed from the advanced search form.

Re-opening ticket. Since a user can edit the search results field, a decision has been made to remove the "Dates" section of the advanced search form completely. Please remove the header and "Published in the" drop down list.

Once Mulgara can handle date ranges, we'll add the section back in to the advanced search form.

(In [7557]) Completely removed date selection from the advanced search form and added logic to advsearch.js date validation to check for existence of date field. This fixes js error on submit where validation choked from the absence of the date fields on the adv. search form.

For ONE template, the Search button no longer works. So you can't submit a search.
