Admin Panel - Unable to Manually Order Articles

Reported by: npeterson Owned by: rcave
Priority: critical Milestone: 0.9.2
Component: ambra Version: 0.9.1_rc1

Description

working in issue info:doi/10.1371/issue.pcbi.v01.i01, i cannot manually order the articles. Every attempt gives me the following error:

Issue not updated due to the following error. There has been an addition or deletion in the Article URI List.

In each case I have ticked the manual ordering box, removed the last article from the list, pasted it a few poisitons further up, verified it did appear only once, hit update, and got the error and the order was unchanged.

tried rearranging the dois and then ticking the box, same outcome. also tried swapping different articles and go the error.

same outcome for attempts in info:doi/10.1371/issue.pcbi.v04.i12 info:doi/10.1371/issue.pgen.v01.i03

this happens even if you don't reorder the issues string. just check manual and submit.

(In [7545]) For various reasons an article URI can be in the issue article list and not show up in the table of contents. When this happens the user cannot update the Issue because the number of URIs in the csv list in not consistant with the number of URIs in the actual list.

I have found that articles will not show up in the TOC for the following reasons.

1. The Article Type is not in the configuration file.

2. The user input a URI for an article that does not exist.

3. There may be others.
