Browse by Pub Date slowness after cross publishing

was able to successfully cross-publish these three genetics articles in compbiol:

info:doi/10.1371/journal.pgen.1000188 info:doi/10.1371/journal.pgen.1000200 info:doi/10.1371/journal.pgen.1000201

And I can view each one in the compbiol context. But if I attempt to load the browse-by-pub-date page on which they would appear it spins and spins, but never loads

I verified that there are no articles cross-pub'd to itself in Mulgara.

Not a problem with the Admin Panel. Probably related to performance problems.

I can't reproduce the problem.
